About Carla

I have had a life-long interest in complementary medicine and personal development and have been working in the field of holistic therapy, self awareness and development for over 35 years. 

I came into it initially through teaching yoga and exercise and went on to expand my interest in the body/mind/emotional connection through undertaking many further bodywork, emotional and nutritional trainings.  This has enabled me to evolve a unique and interactive combination of skills with which to help bring individuals to physical and/or emotional harmony.

In the 1990's I spent seven years on the Council of the Foundation for Emotional Therapy. I held the post of Training Officer for the FET for three years from 1996. I have been training Emotional Therapists since 1992. I also facilitate Stress Management and Personal Development workshops.

In 2000, I took my work into the business arena, working both at Board level and with groups.

A high stress level is a common denominator among many of my clients. Talking to an understanding, trained outsider in a safe and confidential environment can help people to clarify their feelings and identify the underlying cause of their discomfort or distress. I am able to draw on my extensive combination of tools, techniques and many years’ experience to support them through times of crisis or difficulty. This enables them to approach their problems from a clear space and make the decisions and changes they choose in their lives.
